About Northeastern Martial Arts...

NEMA has been providing martial arts training in the Rochester area since 1979.  In April 1994, we relocated our school to Chili Center in the Chili-Paul Plaza.  Our professional 3,800 square foot facility includes two dojos or training areas including a matted area for the grappling oriented programs (i.e. Jujitsu, Aiki Jujitsu, Katame Waza, and QDT).  The facility also includes heavy bags, mirrors, a kickboxing training facility, and other equipment necessary for the successful practice of the martial arts.

Our objective is to help students develop wholeness of mind and body.  At all ages, our programs are designed to assist each individual in developing mentally and physically.  Through the study of the martial arts at NEMA, students will increase their self-esteem, self-discipline, focus or ability to concentrate, motivation in life, leadership skills and the ability to set goals.  Physically speaking, students of all ages will improve their physical well-being through greater flexibility and strength, increase energy and toning, improve balance and breathing, as well as greater mobility.

Give us a try…

This is the next step.  We offer an “Introduction to Karate” trial program that gives you the opportunity to try out NEMA Dojo to make sure it is a good fit for you or your family member.

Our two-week trial is only $29.95 ($19.95 for a second family member) and includes a free karate uniform.  Do yourself a favor and take a test drive.  This is an excellent opportunity to see what the buzz is all about and get all your questions answered.

Submit the following information to enroll.  We will get back to you within 24 hours to set up an appointment for your first class. Any information you can give us like, who is looking to enroll (ie. Yourself or Your Child), and what program you are interested in would be very helpful.
